When I say it out loud, it sounds silly. Only four years married? Because, it feels like forever. But, four years ago, we said “I Do” in front of God and our families. And, since then, I have never looked back.
When we got engaged, I was a baby…a sophomore in college. We truly have grown up together. We have gone through being as broke as can be, with no end in sight, and many trials and tribulations…but, with each passing year, our marriage has blossomed into something better and better.
Blossoming like a flower-the symbol of the fourth anniversary. Flowers are the earth’s love letters; and, I truly believe that we live a love letter life. Just like flowers attract butterflies, you give me those when you walk in after a long day at work.
Cultivating a marriage takes patience, because it happens every so slowly…but, Wilson, I cannot wait to continue this life, this love letter, with you.
xoxo, rebecca
