If I had a dollar for every time a client told me that she “doesn’t take good pictures” I would be a very rich woman! The best part is…they will say that and then turn out to be a natural. And natural is just what I’m looking for. For me, an engagement session should be an extension of your personality, and showcase the personality of the couple. I always field a lot of questions about posing, and how to make the images look a certain way.  My answer is always simple. Yes, I will help you, gently pose you, and make you feel comfortable. No, I won’t make your engagement pictures look just like the session I shot last week, or even the last session I shot at your exact location.

I have shot in Glencairn Gardens countless times. Honestly though, I see something new every single time. This engagement session was no exception.  I met up with this lovely Charlotte couple, we discussed their wedding plans; they have a fall wedding planned.
