Wow, our third year of marriage has come and gone. Three years ago, I was walking down the aisle to the love of my life, ready to make the joyous dance into the future ahead of us. However, we are beyond the “honeymoon” stage of learning how to share a bathroom, bank accounts, responsibilities, and a life. We have grown into our own skin and identity as one person…one unit…in these first three years, even with all of the ups and the downs, we have loved each other deeply and wholeheartedly through life. I have truly lived.

Wilson, as our conversations deepen, I feel more alive than ever. Like leather, we are flexible and durable. No matter the storms that life has thrown our way, we have came out to a new, and beautifully different us. You are my safety when life feels out of control; and, it is your security that I will treasure forever.
