Wilson and I do not get to have date nights that often, especially during spring wedding season, so we take full advantage of them when we can. I think dating your spouse is so important, because, it is important to carve out time with little distraction, in order to take your relationship to a deeper level and to create meaningful memories. Wilson and I came up with five last minute spring date night ideas that you can do with little to no advanced planning.
1) Spring Picnic
Tis the season to pull out the blanket, plan some romantic lunch with homemade lemonade, and head to Furman or Falls Park to enjoy the beautiful weather.
2) Visit A Local Farmer’s Market
Spring is the perfect time to support local businesses by getting some fresh produce and local goods. Greenville has a farmer’s market every Saturday, and, it is very refreshing just to stroll around. You can even pick some local foods and produce up, in order to cook a romantic dinner at home.
3) Dinner Outside
It is always fun to have dinner on your patio/deck or at a busy downtown location. Enjoy a night of people watching, while having a romantic meal.
4) Go On A Hike
Plan a hike or scenic walk at a local or regional trail-a perfect time to bask in the warm sun and talk to the one you love.
5) Make Homemade Ice Cream
Wilson and I are determined to take some time out to make ice cream this spring. I know it is easier just to go get it, but, making it is so much more fun.
