Our first full day in Athens, Greece. So exciting!

We started the morning by sleeping in, because the jet lag was starting to get to us, then we made our way to our Athens’ photoshoot with Greece Wedding Photographers, Aaron and Tamim Delaney. Wilson and I love getting photos taken when we travel-it is like our own, personal souvenir; and, we had a blast taking them in Athens!  

The side streets around the Acropolis are so beautiful! These streets are full of quaint, European cottages, boasting amazing colors and beautiful windows. 

After our photoshoot, we had lunch with our new friends; then, went on a tour of the ancient olympic stadium. Also, the olympic stadium boasts all the torches from the modern games, which is so cool! Later, Wilson and I had dinner at East Pearl, a Chinese restaurant down from our apartment, then, retired early. 

TRAVEL TIP: Wilson and I made the mistake of tipping big at restaurants early in our stay in Europe. In America, it is important to tip; but, in Europe, restaurant staff, such as waiters, get actual salaries. Therefore, no one tips often; but, for really good service, we still tipped around five percent.
