It has been a month since Wilson and I had our little fall weekend getaway in Chattanooga, Tennessee to both visit family and rest; but, I still want to feature it on the blog. It was such a busy fall wedding and portrait season for my business, and, that made me excited that we were taking this little trip for a couple of days.
Our Chattanooga, Tennessee Highlights:
-Staying with Wilson’s grandparents was definitely the main highlight of the trip. They live in a cozy, little cottage style house on the side of Signal Mountain. We spent most of our time with them, just talking and looking at old photographs. I am in the process of collecting old photographs from relatives, because I want to make a family history gallery wall in our home. Therefore, it was nice to go through some photographs with Wilson’s grandparents.
-During the day on Saturday, Wilson and I drove up to Signal Point-one of the best views of the local mountains and city.
-We met the other aunts, uncles, and cousins on his mom’s side for dinner at a local Italian restaurant. I do have to say, that the food was not great, but the company was.
