I cannot stress enough how important it is to get in front of the camera every year-no matter if you have children or not. When your children and grandchildren look through the albums that grace your coffee tables years from now, they will want to know y’all as a couple before they came along. 

When I was in Downtown Charlotte last weekend, to shop for baby items (what, woah guys, it is getting real), I met up with Rachel and Jake for their five-year anniversary session. This was my first time shooting in the city; and, let me just say, it did not disappoint-the views and parks were spectacular. Rachel, a fellow photographer, also got some cool shots of Wilson and I right before our one year anniversary, which I will share at a later date.
