A big year of engagement shoots and weddings starts for me this weekend; so, I thought it was time for me to share my word of the year-gradual. The definition of ‘gradual’ from the dictionary is “taking place, changing, or moving by small degrees or little by little.” 

I have a habit in my thinking, rather in my personal life or in business, that I have to have it all right now-the images, the followers, the equipment, the website design, you name it. I have to remember that SLOW GROWTH = STRONG ROOTS. True success is not supposed to be fast; it is supposed to take time because it is built with long hours, dreary eyes, and dreams. 

In 2017, I am going to breathe, roll up my sleeves, and get my hands dirty-success is in the making.
